Quick & Multiple Publishing

A number of teachers teach two or three different classes each day, only they teach the same subject. Rather than forcing you to create the same assignments twice or even three times, LearnSpring gives you the ability to create a single assignment for multiple classes and then customize it, change dates, etc.

Create Information Pages

Do you have a standard set of classroom rules? Homework policies? Or other documents that you're constantly referring parents to throughout the year?

Within your account, you have the ability to create 'information pages' which are always available and easy to find on your sites. The pages can be created for all of your classrooms or individually.

Maintain different "classrooms" and post unique assignments, events and news to each classroom or take advantage of the multiple publish feature mentioned below and write content just once and publish it in any number of places..

When subscribing, parents only receive e-mails related to the classes they subscribe to.

Your Address

With your LearnSpring account you will have your own, easy to remember, LearnSpring address that you can give out to parents so that they may easily find your account. Parents can also locate your site through our directory and search engine.

We recommend that you send home a small handout with your students which lets parents know that you've signed up for LearnSpring and how they can find your account.

Parents Can Subscribe - Instant Notification Alerts

Parents can subscribe directly to their child's classrooms and receive alerts, by e-mail instantly, whenever you publish a new posting. Simply let parents know that you're using LearnSpring and that you recommend they sign up.

When you log into your account, we provide you with a flyer template that you can print and distribute to parents, which provides details on accessing your account, etc. In addition, within your teacher account, you can view a listing of parents who have chosen to subscribe to each classroom.

Comments and Conversation

Parents can maintain an online conversation with you by writing and submitting comments to each of your postings. They can choose to make those comments public or private depending upon the nature of the message.

Announcements and Special Posts

Special 'announcement' posts can be posted and highlighted within each classroom.

Publishing

Using LearnSpring you can create new posts and work on that posts, before the public can view them. As a result, you could post assignments for the next two weeks and leave them published until you're ready to announce to your classes. LearnSpring is designed to allow you to publish and utilize the service in a way that makes sense to you. Publish on your own schedule and create your own publishing style.

Creating Your Posts

Write your posts using an easy-to-use Microsoft Word-like editor that allows you to post pictures, tables, etc. into your messages. You will find the editor to be a familar format and easy to use.

Unlimited Usage!

Unlimited usage - create as many classrooms as you need. In addition, there are no limits on the number of posts, assignments, notes, etc. that you can create and store for each classroom. Post as much information as you would like for each class and don't worry about extra charges.

Access from Anywhere!

Access your account from school, home, your office, the lunch room - wherever there is a computer with an Internet connection. Access is easy because all you need to log in is a username or password and a modern web browser. There's no software or hardware to install.

Printer Friendly Formats

All posts are available in a printer friendly format so that parents can easily print and review assignments, classwork and notes with their child. Parents can review each classroom when its convenient for them (or review their daily notifications by e-mail) and print out the information at the office before leaving the office at night.
